This notice provides an update on Act One Winter Term class and March Break Theatre Camp registrations status.

Winter Term Registration Update:

For students interested in joining a class, please register on-line at Winter Term Registration.

Once a student has registered for a class, Act One will hold a spot for them to come and try it.

All Winter Term classes will be in-person, here at the school facility, as long as health regulations and local circumstances permit. To review the safety measures Act one has put in place, please review the Act One COVID safety protocols.

2021 "March Break" Theatre Camp Registration Now Available:

Act One is pleased to announce that on-line registration for our 2021 "March Break" Theatre is now open.

For 2021, to align with the province postponing March Break until April, Act One is moving its “March Break” camp until the week of Monday, April 12th to Friday, April 16th.

It will be adapted for the current pandemic environment, with key details as follows:

• It will be limited to 12 campers, aged 8-13
• Chris MacCallum will be returning as Camp Director.
• It will take place entirely at Act One. This is to remove the need for any bussing and the risks that go with it.
• The activities have been selected and/or modified for physical distancing and other health safety requirements.
• There will be an end of session camper performance but at this point in time, we are not anticipating conditions that permit any live audience. Instead, we will be filming the campers’ show, then uploading it to the school Vimeo account and allowing campers’ family and friends to watch it from there. Campers will also receive a free show disc for those who prefer to watch that way.
